Who Can Become a CMP Supplier?

Corporate Mentoring Program (CMP) Supplier Category Overview

Suppliers’ participation in the DMSCA Corporate Mentoring Program (CMP) is limited and subject to conditions. Suppliers should be certified MBEs through the National Suppliers Development Council (NMSDC) or as WBEs through the Womens Business Enterprise Council (WBENC). Government Certifications accepted include HubZone, Veteran-Owned businesses, and SBA Section 8(a).   

 

DMSCA CMP Supplier Categories

Member Sponsored Supplier (MSS)

Member Sponsored Suppliers are Suppliers that are sponsored into the CMP by a Sponsoring Corporate Member (SCM). An interested supplier should ask its current customers about their participation in DMSCA as Sponsoring Corporate Members (SCM). In addition to eligibility to participate on the Suppliers CMP Planning and Development Committee they enjoy all supplier privileges of participation in the CMP Network.

Self - Enrolled Member Sponsored Supplier (SE-MSS)

Self-Enrolled Member Sponsored Suppliers are Suppliers that are sponsored into the CMP by either a Sponsoring Corporate Member and pay a CMP Self-Enrollment Fee. An interested supplier should ask its current customers about their participation in DMSCA as Basic Corporate Members (BCM). In addition to eligibility to participate on the Suppliers CMP Planning and Development Committee, they enjoy all supplier privileges of participation in the CMP Network.

Self - Enrolled At-Large Supplier (SE-ALS)

Self-Enrolled At-Large Suppliers are mature suppliers that pay a CMP Self-Enrollment fee to engage in the CMP System. While their request is reviewed by all Sponsoring Corporate Members for potential sponsorship in one of the above categories as a  Member Sponsored Supplier or Self-Enrolled Member Sponsored Supplier,  DMSCA Management may at its discretion allow interim acceptance for one-year. In addition to eligibility to participate on the Suppliers CMP Planning and Development Committee they enjoy all supplier privileges of participation in the CMP Network.
